Job Description

We are currently seeking a Store Manager to manage the Optimum Health Store at OHI San Diego. The store manager is responsible for creating and implementing strategies that increase revenue by maximizing sales, revenue tracking and reporting, purchasing and maintaining inventory control, providing a high-level of customer service with continual communications to vendors, customers, supervisor and other employees. The Store Manager is also responsible for hiring, training and evaluating store staff and overseeing daily store operations, while providing a high-degree of customer service to guests.

  • Manage the Optimum Health Store and the staff.
  • Develop, implement and maintain store policies and procedures. 
  • Create management reports, track department metrics and ensure all applicable labor laws are followed. 
  • Perform Manager-On-Duty responsibilities. 
  • Ensure staff is properly trained in store duties and product knowledge.
  • Deliver extraordinary customer service.
  • Promote store products and provide accurate store product knowledge to guests.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information, maintaining discretion and professionalism.  


  • 5 years experience in the retail industry (e.g. professional holistic health store, high-end retail store, high-end boutique, and resort spa services.).
  • 3 years experience supervisory experience.
  • 5 years extensive customer service experience & 3 years office procedures experience.
  • Associate's degree (A.A.); Or equivalent combination of education and 6 years' experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient use of e-mail, internet and an enterprise-level point-of-sales system.


This is a Full-Time position and candidates must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
